A. All the jewellery is made from sterling silver. Some ranges have 9ct or 18ct gold with the silver. Freshwater pearls and crystals are used in some ranges.
A. All gold jewellery must be hallmarked by law. Any silver jewellery which weighs 7.8g or over must be hallmarked. Items of silver jewellery under 7.8g do not have to be hallmarked.
A. The piece of jewellery can only be hallmarked as silver by law.
A. All pendants, with the exceptions of the large lily and large orchid pendants are supplied with a 16 inch silver chain. Different length chains are available on request.
A. Payment can either be by cheque payable to KFD Jewellery or telephone to pay be credit/debit card.
A. Yes, any piece of jewellery can be made in gold. This process takes time as the gold must be hallmarked and I need to have a selection of pieces in gold requiring hallmarking, before I can send them to the assay office.
A. Most items I keep in stock at all times, so you will receive your item(s) one or two days after I have received payment. If the item you require is not in stock and does not require hallmarking then I aim to make it and post it out to you within one week. If the item required hallmarking then it may take between two weeks to six weeks. I will usually contact you to give you an estimated delivery time.
